Hidden View is designed to work without an account and without advertising tracking.

Information we collect

Hidden View does not collect personal information, analytics, precise location, contacts, identifiers, or advertising data through the app.

Camera and photos

Camera access is used only to show the live preview and create photos or videos requested by you. Captures are stored locally in the app. If you grant permission to add items to Photos, the app also saves a copy to your system photo library.

Hidden View does not upload your camera preview or captures to our servers.

Microphone access is requested only when you start recording video. Microphone audio is included in the recorded video and is processed and stored on your device. Hidden View does not upload microphone audio to our servers.

Purchases

The paid app download is processed by Apple under Apple’s own privacy policy. The app does not include in-app purchases, subscriptions, or purchase entitlement processing.

Local preferences

The app stores settings such as the selected frame rate on your device using system preferences.

Data retention and deletion

Captures remain on your device until you remove the app or delete the corresponding files. Copies saved to Photos are managed separately in the Photos app.

Children

Hidden View is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when app functionality changes. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
